Warehouse Manager     Openings - 1

Hayats Pro, a rapidly growing IT integrator, is looking for a warehouse manager to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. Since this is a management role, you will oversee a team of up to ten members and are expected to make effective decisions regarding personnel management and logistics operations. You will manage the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. We seek a candidate with ideally five or more years of experience in the warehouse space with a proven track record of managing others. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, and other perks. 

Warehouse Manager Job Duties:

• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling them with a data storage system.
• Maintains the physical warehouse condition by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  
• Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  
  

Warehouse Manager Skills and Desired Qualifications:

• Five to seven years of warehouse, logistics, or 3PL experience 
• Track record of management experience
• Ability to pass a drug and criminal background test
• Two-year degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
